Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

Me and my Husband are the proud owners of Canadian Toy & Baby Goods Brand "Greenwalnut." From day 1, our focus was to provide parents and grandparents with a toy brand that they can call their own and where they would not have to worry about the quality of the product, as our products are plastic-free, BPA-free, and lead-free, which makes them perfect for the little ones, and they are there to last for generations to come. Our online journey began with selling on ETSY. This platform connected us with the parents, grandparents, and aunts who were desperately looking for good-quality toys for their little ones. It gave us the push we were looking for, and the rest is now history! We Are Proud to say that Each Product is Designed here in Canada!

All the products are our favorites, but if we have to list a few, it will be as follows:

In short, these are favorites because they provide the parents and kids with a complete package of what they are looking for without having to spend additional money to buy anything to complete the set, and our products are priced very reasonably so parents do not have to compromise the quality because of the price.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

We were very lucky in that perspective; after launching our Etsy shop, we had our First sale the very next day! And getting traffic is the key to good business, and for that, we as a team focus on Updating with the new trend, which is updating and Enhancing key words and Product pictures on a constant basis.

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

Since our operation has grown, we do have a team of professionals who help us manage the business effectively. We use a customized platform for our toys business, which helps us maintain Inventory , fulfill orders, and Provide the Best Customer Service ! As far as shipping goes, we fulfill our orders in house, and we have contracts with the leading shipping carriers, which helps us deliver the product in the given time.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

Our future goal is to provide a one-stop solution for quality toys and baby products for parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles while moving towards a plastic-free environment.
