How Herzenssach got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

The name of my shop is Herzenssach. My Etsy shop is currently selling everything about stationary, particularly wedding stationary. While I am currently focusing on weddings, I used to focus first on babies and toddler accessories. I decided to sell on Etsy because it is the main marketplace for handmade items. My products are created through a constant creative process. I constantly try to add new designs to my portfolio and keep in touch with new trends.

Favorite items

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

Invitations and welcome signs are my favourite items because every piece is unique and every single order needs my creativity. Those items are also my bestsellers. I guess the reason those are selling really well is that the recommendations are positive.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

My first sale came a pretty short time after I started my Etsy shop. I try to keep my shop modern and updated and constantly add new products and pictures.

Managing Herzenssach

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

I run my shop on my own. I promote my shop on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. For the creation of my products, I use designer software such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. I handle the shipping of every single order on my own.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

I want to expand the number of orders I get through the constant improvement of my products and ideas.
