How KfirTager got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
My name is Yizhaq, the proud father of Kfir Tager, the artist. Kfir is one of the youngest and hottest pop artists in the world. Kfir started drawing and creating at the age of 3, and since he developed his unique pop art style and created his own special language, he has been gathering a community of fans that have become part of his global pop art movement. Kfir paints his original works on huge canvases and sells them to collectors from all over the world. In addition, we sell high-quality canvas prints at affordable prices so that everyone can be a part of their wonderful art. After research that took many months, we found suppliers who produce canvas prints for us around the world to give quality with express delivery to our customers.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
My favorite items are the paintings from Kfir's urban series. They have been selling well for several years, thanks to the feeling of optimism, happiness, and love they give to the viewer.
Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
My first sale took a month to arrive, but the breakout of our store came only a year and a half after its opening. I attract customers to our store in every possible way: social networks; privately sponsored promotions outside Etsy that leads to Etsy; dedicated art and design groups.
Managing KfirTager
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
I manage my store alone and work there almost all day every day. I use the ERANK app to analyze data. and in Vella to update items. I also research the activity through Google Analytics. After many months of searching over the years, we found suppliers that we work with around the world who will help us produce our product at the highest level possible and make sure to send it to the customer as quickly and safely as possible.
The future of KfirTager
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
Our goals for the future are to develop more products from Kfir's unique pop art that will provide a solution in the fields of clothing accessories and home design. Expand our community and the global pop art movement. We believe that once you become part of our community, you bring color and happiness into your life.
Advice for new sellers
What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?
If you believe in your product, there is no doubt that, in the end, it will sell. My recommendation above all is to concentrate on giving the best experience to the customer. From product quality to customer service and problem-solving. Since the customers do not shop in a physical store, it is our duty to provide them with an experience that is nothing less than perfect. We personally believe in fast, free shipping as a way of life. And finally, every business needs to have an agenda. We love the ocean. I swim in the open sea for a distance, and Kafir surfs. That's why some of our profits are donated to organizations that clean the ocean of plastic. Every customer who buys from us helps us be part of a better world.
