I'm thrilled to share the story behind Kionas Sandals, our successful Etsy shop specialising in handmade Greek leather sandals for men and women. Our journey on Etsy began a few years ago when my passion for crafting and my love for Greek culture and fashion intersected. I have always been fascinated by the rich heritage and artistry of Greek handmade sandals. Inspired by their timeless elegance and comfort, I decided to create my own line of high-quality, authentic Greek leather sandals and share them with the world.

When it came to deciding what to sell, I wanted to offer a product that would not only be beautiful but also reflect the traditional craftsmanship that Greece is renowned for. Greek leather sandals perfectly fit this vision, as they are not only stylish but also embody the artisanal techniques passed down through generations. Creating our sandals is a meticulous process that begins with sourcing the finest materials. Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

It took us only two days from the opening of our store to make our first order. I remember it being really amazing for me. Our products were very quickly loved, and our sales are increasing year by year.

Managing KionasSandals

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

It is really difficult to manage an Etsy shop that has thousands of sales every year. It takes many hours of hard work and contact with each customer individually because you have to answer all the questions and try to do the best for them. Our team consists of three people in product manufacturing and one shipper.

The future of KionasSandals

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

Our goal is for our store to continue with the same dynamic and for our products to continue to be loved. We will continue to renew our collection every year with unique new designs and colours.

Advice for new sellers

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

My advice for new shops on the platform is to be honest with customers, be patient, and make their products really handmade.
