How LynnKinmanPsychic got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

My shop is Lynn Kinman Psychic. I have been a practicing psychic for over 25 years. I provide psychic readings and psychic development classes. I took a leap of faith when I started my shop. I really wanted to have a broader audience for my readings and classes. My son recommended Etsy to me in 2014. I was at a place in my life where I needed a change. That’s how I began my journey on Etsy. I sell readings that I have experience doing. I also sell pendulum charts that I have made. I try to put myself in my customers shoes as far as the types of readings I offer.

Favorite items

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

My favourite readings are the Spirit Guide Reading, Past Life Reading, and Couples Past Life eading. I love introducing people to their spirit guides. The past-life readings are always interesting to me since I never know what information I will be given. I see past lives and also do past-life regressions. We all have different past lives, and they are unique to who we are spiritually. All three of these have sold very well, as I think people truly want to know about their psychic abilities and past lives.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

I had my first sale within 2 weeks of setting up my shop. I attract customers using the Etsy teams for promotion, Etsy ads, and recently a mailing list using Aweber.

Managing LynnKinmanPsychic

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

I manage my shop on my own. I use Photoshop for products. I use Aweber for an email list. All of my listings are digitally made to order. I send it by uploading a thank you and emailing the reading.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

I always try to make it better and more successful. I try to add new readings each year if possible.

Advice for new sellers

What’s your advice for a new seller starting an Etsy shop?

It takes time. Be realistic and be ready to really hang in there for awhile. Use the teams for promotions. Make sure you provide stellar customer service.
