How Mondinadollhouse got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
I've always been fascinated by miniatures, ever since I was a little girl. So I started as a game or hobby to produce some objects: pillows, small kitchen towels, handbags, bras, pants, etc. I learned printing methods and some notions from my husband, who is a technical graphic designer. One day, again for fun, I decided to open a shop on Etsy, and with amazement and joy, I began to have my first sales. Since then, I have studied and designed many other items that customers have also asked me to design, all with the help of my dear husband. Now we deal in particular with the sale of wallpapers, flooring, and fabrics.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
My favourite items are our cotton fabrics because I selected the patterns that best fit the style of my shop and we managed to resize them perfectly in 1:12 and 1:24 scale. This item is in high demand and is appreciated by customers, who say in reviews that they are satisfied with the quality of both the fabric and the print.
Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
My first sale was after a few months. I regularly try to post new items and create promotions and discounts.
Managing Mondinadollhouse
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
There are two of us to manage the shop: my husband, who takes care of the graphics and printing, and I, who take care of the packaging and shipping. I usually send many small padded envelopes by going personally to the post office two or three times a week. I'm only using the Etsy seller app at the moment.

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
I hope to continue the sales and renew the shop by regularly offering new products while always remaining attentive to the quality of the materials used and the workmanship.

I advise you to believe in what you do and always continue to give your customers the best without compromising on quality.
