How PrintablesEliStudio got started
Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m the founder of PrintablesEliStudio on Etsy. My Etsy journey began at the beginning of 2021 when I created my first Etsy store with a Valentine’s Day product. Later on, I decided to focus that store on the offering of printable planners, and they became AzilesCo Planners.
A few months later, I decided to dive into seasonal products again, so I created a second shop where I listed printable games and activities for all occasions and ages. It turned out to be a niche I really enjoyed working on, and I found a lot of people interested in what I had to offer! I’ve been constantly creating and improving my products since then, and I really enjoy the process. I create the products using Canva and get beautiful clipart from Etsy and Creative Market.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
I have a lot of favorite items in my shop! But these three are special, as I really like the design that was created after a lot of trial and error. They have all been given a bestseller badge in the season they get more popular, and I think they sell well because of the design and for being activities that the whole family can enjoy and create new memories together!
Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
I think my first sale came after a month of working on the shop, and I currently attract customers from Pinterest, and I get a lot of repeat customers who like my work.
Managing PrintablesEliStudio
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
I manage the shop by myself. I do the design part, listing, finance, customer service, etc. I get some design advice from my husband from time to time, as he actually studied arts and design. The tools I use at the moment are:
- Canva: product design and listing images
- Etsy and Creative Market to purchase quality clipart.
- Alura and Erank for SEO and keyword searching
- Pinterest to do some marketing and reach new customers.
The future of PrintablesEliStudio
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
Right now, I’m working on improving the products that are already in store as well as adding new evergreen products. Some goals for this year include reaching 10,000 sales by the end of the year and adding at least five products every month.
