How JewelsByEdora got started

Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?

I am a self-made artisan. looking for pure forms and moods. This journey started more than ten years ago. I choose to craft not for myself but for sale. First came colleagues and friends, then Facebook and local markets, and Etsy was the logical next step. So, very first, I am a craftsman, not a seller.

Favorite items

What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?

Long Deep Blue Rope Necklace

Because it is so classy and versatile. Interesting colors and minimalist design. And all the doll pendants, coffee dolls because it is a very playful and emotional creature.

However, black clip-on earrings are the best-selling item. And you know why: because it is more than classy. Nothing but a circle and black.Pure form and color.

Getting sales on Etsy

How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?

It took me more than a year to make my first Etsy sale. Now I’m promoting my Etsy shop on Facebook and Instagram.

Managing JewelsByEdora

How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?

I'm an artisan, a craftsman, a seller, a shipping manager, and a customer service representative all rolled into one. Only with the face mask did I have a partner and helper: a lovely seamstress who did an excellent job with customers. Kathy Snva.

The future of JewelsByEdora

What goals do you have for your shop in the future?

I would like to see my story more conceptual and refined, with classy and trendy colors of Dewberry earrings (dangle, stud, and clip).

Advice for new sellers

Dear new seller, be ready to explore Etsy's world and find your rules to be noticed and grow up. Be creative and respect your customers; don’t act like a factory man.
