Introduce your Etsy shop and tell us your story. How did you begin and decide on what to sell on Etsy, and how do you create your products?
Hello! My name is Oksana, and I am the owner of the Toys Gallery store. I have been on Etsy since 2016. At first, it was a hobby for me, which eventually turned into a family business. Now this is my main job, which brings me pleasure. I crochet animals, dolls, and personal toys according to the drawings of my customers. Now my toys are on all continents of the world.
Favorite items
What are your favorite items? What makes these so special? Why do you think these items might be selling well?
My most popular item is personalized toys. I create toys according to the customer's drawings. It takes longer, and they are more difficult to make. But the result is worth it; I get a lot of positive feedback.
The second most popular is the crochet greyhound. Customers love it for its minimalism and resemblance to their beloved pets.
Getting sales on Etsy
How long did it take for you to earn your first sale and how do you currently attract customers to your Etsy shop?
The first sale occurred after three weeks. To promote toys, I use Instagram and Etsy tools.
Managing ToysGallery
How do you manage your shop? Are you running solo or do you have any team members? What tools or services do you use to run your shop and how do you handle fulfillment?
I only make toys. My husband helps with promotion, website design, and SEO optimization. To do this, he uses Erank. To send parcels, I use the international post office of Ukrposhta and DHL.
The future of ToysGallery
What goals do you have for your shop in the future?
I want the dynamics of sales to grow every year in my store and to attract new people to the team. I also want to promote high-quality handmade toys.

Before you open a store, study marketing, take high-quality product photos, get acquainted with Etsy, and be unique!
